These have not been to sold him. Im 98% sure he was trying to scam me. Asking for my phone number and extra information. Then when I said I would not provide it he sent the money anyway and wanted me to mail the them the same day.

Scam.

This thread is pretty much dead, but if anyone wants the Rescues they are just chillin in my closet, and are still available.

Thank you for accusing me that this was a scam, but the only person being defrauded here was me as a result of your deceitful selling delays. I asked for your phone number because, as I mentioned "I have 0 recourse on that particular

website." It is basically my post count (2) vs someone with post count 754. Given the seller's behaviour, I wouldn't be surprised if more individuals came out with complaints after this.

This was referenced in my e-mail here:

"Please ensure the item is shipped quick, otherwise I will not be able to receive it. Also, could you reply with your full name and a number I can contact you? This is not to harass you, just some consumer protection on my behalf."

Please explain how this was a scam:

1. I paid for the item in full from a verified address with cleared funds.

2. Included were charges for express shipping that I INSISTED paying, otherwise the item would have been returned to seller's doorstep.

3. Seller insisted that I wait for his bank to clear his deposit before shipping the item. Seller insisted he was not aware that the item needed to be shipped quickly after receiving additional funds for the purpose of expediting shipment and a direct statement stating 'ship the item quickly'.

Libel is a serious issue. You be the judge...

As per my e-mail to ktothe:

"I paid an additional $15 (a considerable amount) for express shipping,

and waiting an extra week for delivery voids that completely. This is

not standard business practice. Had you not mentioned "as soon as the

money clears", which was a false statement since the funds were

cleared, then I would have never known you were delaying shipment and

I would never have been able to receive the item. It would have likely

been returned back to your doorstep."

To this, ktothe responded:

"Its standard business practice to wait for the money to clear. This is how its done always. When the money hits the account, the item is shipped. You will reclaim nothing. If you needed them right away you should have notified me before you sent the money. Having sent many quite a few items to Ontario I know they wouldn't have been received by the 15th If i sent them tomorrow anyway.

Your plan sucked."

To which I responded:

"You are right to wait for the money to clear. Guess what? It was cleared.

Asking for express shipping would imply that I need the item quick.

Standard delivery = 5-10 business days.

Express delivery = 3-5 business days.

The item would have arrived at the latest June 12th, assuming you

didn't delay shipping. You are a deceitful seller."

This was referencing an earlier statement asking ktothe to guarantee arrival by June 14 if he was going to delay shipment an additional 4 days for his personal banking.
