Enlighten me on these Stitch's

Surfing around blueingreensoho.com i came about these pair of stitch's jeans:

The price chocked med quite a bit. The only thing i see that differs this stitch's model from all the other is the sterling silverwear and the Black Pearl. Does anyone have any experience with these jeans that can justify the price? or is it just pirates of the caibbean fanboys who buys these blackpearl jeans?

The only thing superfuturian about these jeans is the price tag.

They weigh about as much as a t-shirt and are just as soft.

Moykky: Agreed, but all their denim is "aged in redwood barrels while a nun has been constantly yodling next to it over a period of a thousand years" or so. nothing speciel there.

they are unimpressive in person. Kind of a true religion, but gawdy in a different way.

they are made by the same people that does the clothing line da-nang... if that makes a difference.. also one of their old sales rep told me that their aged in 'vintage oak barrels is a lie'.. .. but.. i'm not sure, so don't quote me on that... just heard in the fashion industry rumor mill...

You know...there are NO jeans worth that amount of money...none! This is just an example of a brand trying to see just how denim crazy we are as consumers; i.e., how much we'd be willing to shovel out for a pair of jeans. I'm convinced that this just has to be an experiment of some sort.

Haha, I love how it has a tahitian pearl set in the button...And sterling silver hardware. Anyway, stitch's fit like shit.
