Jacket material

I am just curious what are there any major differences in terms of the fit, overall look and durablity between a jacket made out of 100% cotton as opposed to one made of 52% cotton, 38% polyester, 10% nylon jacket? Besides Im residing in a quite a humid country so I would actually prefer a light-weight jacket to use. Need some advices, TIA!

My understanding of this is that a 100% cotton jacket will breath better and allow moisture to escape better then a mixed one. Especially polyester doesn't breath to well. If you're some place really hot and humid, you may want to stick with cotton in theory, although the overall difference may be negligible.
