I'm planning a trip to Cairo for the end of August. Yeah, I know its hot and not necessarily the best time to go, but how can I turn down the chance to see Egypt!

Anyways, does anyone have any hot stores, cafes, bars, restaurants, etc... that I could check out?

From what I've read it seems like most of the action is in Mohandissen and Heliopolis, both places aren't necessarilly convenient it seems.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
