it maybe. i have seen the oni's myself, and as far as i can see on the kmw awa pictures it looks like they use the same denim. same level of slubbiness and denim color, they both have purple selvedge too.

Except that the AWA is 17oz instead of 19oz and is sanforized. Who knows?

my bad, i missed that detail. well i bet those two are woven at the same denim factory, or at least woven by machine of the same model. those two and samurai ai look extremely similar in terms of their slubbiness.
