Never really been an army surplus buff, but I'm noticing that all these camo prints are exactly the same as those used by the labels.

what are the prices / whats the fit like with pants and shorts at army surplus shops? do they even fit normally?

tiger print, rain camo, etc, are all there.

fuck you

surplus is always a good spot to pick up the same stuff that other lines are copying and overpricing... the only thing you might notice a difference in is fit and quality. when you're in the army, you dont get to complain that something is cut a certain way, nor do you get to tell your commanding officer that your fabric is too scratchy. i've found that to be the case with certain things, but you can still find a few gems in there. i've copped a piece of headwear or two...

what's the deal with these fashion labels copying camouflage stuff? are they trying to make a political statement? this print was invented so a soldier can blend into his combat environment and become less visible to the enemy. it's a matter of life and death in battle. i think it's damn silly to see "soldier" (in rap terminology) wannabees walking around town with this stuff on. maybe they ought to make a cement camo for these urban soldiers. it's really just a silly joke. even more disgusting is the idea that these labels can charge several hundreds $$$ for tshirts and jackets. it just seems like they're out of $#*(&% creative ideas. the only people who can wear camo prints appropriately are military personnel and ROTC.

but if you're gonna be a fake urban soldier, at least wear real surplus gear.
