nordstrom for hemming?

i have a few pair of jeans i need hemmed and i don't trust just anyone to hem my diors, is nordstrom a safe bet?

the only thing i'll say about nordstrom (at least the store here in portland) is that they've done a great job on "original hems" for some girlfriends' jeans.

if you're hemming raw jeans and no one locally offers a chainstitch, just take them to any tailor. hemming isn't rocket science; no professional tailor is going to ruin your precious diors if you tell them what you want (inseam length, hem height, thead color/composition, etc.).
