Because we all know that homosexuals were always only discriminated in US and not anywhere else, and we also all know that they're accepted everywhere in the world these days...

oh wait, what am I saying.

Of course not, but certainly there's an inclination in America to "correct and seek out" homosexuals in such a way that intimates a sort of moral and religious authority on America's part.

I would have a hard time believing clowns like Ted Haggard could exist in say, Germany and certainly the whole idea of "gay conversion ministries" is unrepentantly ridiculous. I'd probably have a hard time finding something of that sort outside of America as well.

And bringing up countries like Iran defeats the point since the cultural differences are too vast.

Indeed, I am Chernobyl.

The Protestant mentality of America is at times, a corrosive business.

That's right. Down with judeo-christian morality, because with out them we can all be sexual deviants, crack addicts, homeless bums, etc! Yay!

But wait it's okay for Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc. to behead homosexuals and treat women like pieces of property because their "cultural differences are too vast."

Thanks god I am an enlightened forward thinker like Vitamian.

I am not condoning anything about Iran or the Moslem nations. I was saying that the Moslem nations are a different beast than the American Protestant mentality of discrimination.

Whereas (present) Moslem nations executes supposed homosexuals, the Protestant Christian mindset is to "reform" them, which I feel has an equal aura of ridiculousness to it. Perhaps, not quite as extreme, but certainly unattractive; rather like the whole Missionary movement.

I have no attraction nor sympathy for so-called Judeo-Christian morality, especially the modern Protestant notion.

Although I disagree that there is any notion of equality between so-called "protestant reformation" of homosexuality and the acts of brutality brought upon homosexuals in the Middle East, I do agree that evangelicals in the US are over the top when it comes to condemning homosexuality. Therefore I say that all the politicking should stop here and we should continue on to the original subject at hand.

Yes, yes there are. Dozens.

Would you like to see them? Too bad.

Dozens of John Lobbs for your picking.

I am unable to post at the StyleForum, but I will say that California used to have another Neiman Marcus Last Call.

It was in the basement of the old I.Magnin department store in Oakland during the mid '90s.

Choice England I love that shit, City of god etc....my only wish is for youtube computer capability.

I have been watching this tv show called "Busted abroad", stories of regular people that somehow got caught up in drug smuggling escapades.

There was a really good drug smuggling film out a few years back, the main character was a chick, possibly South American....names escaping me.
