Dior Homme Beatle Boots (FW 06/07)

Hi, I need opinion from you guys! I have been hunting this boots for quite some time now. Does anyone have this? I usually wear size 44 but I heard they run 1/2 to 1 sizes smaller. Will size 45 be too big for me and should I go straight for size 44.5?

I found a guy selling this boots and he is wearing size 45. He said it fits him perfectly. We discussed about the size of our foot. Length of his foot is 29cm while mine is 28cm. Width of his foot is 11cm while mine is maybe 11.1cm. Should I go for the 45 and buy from him then? or should I continue my search for 44.5? Help me out guys!! I never own any dior homme footwear before that is why I am worried to pay something that doesn't fit me!:confused:

those look like "spats" ... hard to find nowadays ... I'm sure you could buy the ankle spat attachment and attach it to an existing shoe for the same effect for less $$$ ... not a helpful reply....but its something

Looking at the construction of the button part:

As ridiculous as it might seem, if you can get a pair of slim chelsea boots (jodphurs would probably work better for a mod though) through R.M. Williams or Charles Tyrwhitt (both around $200), or something like these from Shipton and Heneage:

You could actually have a cobbler modify them to include the flap/buttons. This would probably cost around $150 for the work, so you're looking at about $350 total......less than half of what you would probably pay for the Diors.

Just a thought.

those diors actually went on sale at barneys a while ago (50% off or more? can't remember exactly, but was a pretty good deal). i got a pair at home, i'll let you know my sizing when i get back.

Just looking at those points and how narrow they are, I think you'd be safe with the slightly larger size.

those boots are with horrible quality.

2 of my friends have got those and both pairs got broken and were sent back for repair after 1 week wearing.

Hi guys, thanks for the reply and opinion! I know quality of dior homme actually deteriorated but I am really a big fan! All I need to know is.....should i get from this guy for 45 or should i continue my search for 44.5? It might fit just right for me since both of us share measurement in terms of the width of the foot but at the same time I am worried that it might be loose since his foot is 1cm longer than mine. Anyone has any size info and measurements for dior boots? HELP!!!

i wear sz 40 for B01 sneakers, but my gold heels r sz 42. not that much of difference coz its boots.

This probably won't help but... I have a pair of original button-up boots from the pre-Industrial Revolution era and they fit reaaaaaallly slim. Yeah okay fine I just wanted to brag about them.

I dunno if this will help but at least I get to brag about shit I own if it doesn't.

anyways I own like 8 pairs of dior homme shoes and sneakers including those victorian button-ups you are looking for, for me all my shoes are the exact same size, 41 and to me those button ups do not fit any larger or smaller than my other DH dress shoes or sneakers. Of course it is better if they are slightly larger than smaller because you can always play around with putting in an extra insole so your foot doesn't slide around, or you can put extra Dr. scholl's heel and toe products to make them fit tighter, if they are too small though you make have to do a risky "shoe-stretching" that some cobblers do, you can do it yourself but if you don't do it right you'll ruin the shoe. Anyways if you own any other pairs of DH shoes or if you can go to a SAKS or Neiman's or some store that carries even a small selection of DH shoes, I would see what size you can fit into best and don't go more than 0.5 size larger or smaller.
