I've only given the record a few listens so far, but I'm already a little dissapointed. I'm not trying to say this as a pretentious indie nerd, but I think some of the songs are far too radio-ready, to the point where it takes away from the song, or what it could have been.

Dashboard and Education are almost unlistenable. The way the songs build up sonically, in such a predictable, linear fashion is especially frustrating. On a lighter note, I think Parting of the Sensory stands out the most of all the new songs. What does everyone else think?

True, it is a little more radio-friendly than their previous works. But, it doesn't come as a surprise. I think their sound has just progressed.
