you need to read Japanese, but if your ever in the area and care enough to see the whole thing, this would be a great day out for you and your family

Enjoy

Thanks Neilfuji.

I'll be in Japan in April. My current plans don't include Okayama (only Osaka and Tokyo). I'm going to have to convince my wife that a side trip will be good.

If you get a chance go to Kyoto, it's close to the Okayama prefecture and there is a tour of a Jeans factory from the station, I think you can get the tour booked at Osaka Station too.

well worth it

I found this extended jeans tour. Which includes the aizome workshop. I can't read/translate.

The betty smith jeans museum http://www.bettysmith.co.jp/ and the cakes don't look exciting. Does anyone know what this RIVER place is? The URL http://www.river.petict.cc/ isn't working.

I'll try to find info on the Kyoto tour now.

Thanks

Hi

trhe Jeans tour (I think) is the same one from Osaka station, you book it at the station and they pick you up....not been on that one, but been told it's a good day out, they make a pair of jeans for you, all hand done too
