opinions on ernst and sewn?

Scott Morrison founded Ernest Sewn after a dispute last year at PD&C (which I believe he founded).

I think they are okay. Seems similiar to Paper Denim except for the orange and blue stitching. Basically, they share the racks at Bloomingdales with Seven and Von Douche.

One of the concepts of Earnest Sewn is that a pair of jeans is created from start to finish by only one person. Gives each pair the sense of labor of love/pride of workmanship.
