Moving, need new gear

I am moving from NYC to Tallahassee (don't ask) in a few weeks and need to get my gear situation straight. Since I doubt I'll have too many options in the Florida panhandle I was hoping to sort of stock up before I broke south. That said, if you were moving to the sticks, and had only a ratty pair of rogans, a few weathered steven alan t-shirts, some wack cords and the same NB colorway since '88, what would you, at bare minimum make sure you had before entering the humid world of malls, Jeb Bush, and online shopping. Oh, and speaking of online shopping, do i have many options in that regard?

thick denims and cords are useless in humid florida weather. if i were you, i'd get a pair of decent sandals, some linen trousers, shorts, light polos, aviator style shades, and wife beaters . your rogans will frankly give them heart attacks they've never seen such uncivilized jeans. them more fashion forward floridians love diesel jeans, so bring a pair if you want to blend in. have fun, and watch out for indians. the upside is, fsu girls are hot and 'tis season for them to walk around buck nekkid!!! make an effort to go to campus parties if you can, such debauchery!!!

I can only hope that after tucking in my bright yellow polo with the company crest and fastening my pleated khaki shorts with the braided leather belt that my massive, growing gut won't prevent me from reaching my parliament lights, velcro-adjustable visor, golf clubs, or beer cozy with insurance company insignia! But, seriously, how many pairs of jeans, tees, sneakers, etc would you make sure you had on hand. And, what are the online options?

you're actually pretty lucky that youre going now, or in the next few months. all of the spring stuff in NYC should prob be going on clearance in the next few months. I would just stock up on all the warm weather duds you can while youre up here. That would seem to tide you over fashion wise for awhile./\

Clearance would be great. Any rec's on stores to scope out? And, is online just a pointless option?
