I have a few pairs of Rainbows (living by the warehouse has it's advantages) and they are getting pretty beat right about now.

Usual rule of thumb for me though; sandals only in the spring/summer time. I still haven't got the whole sandals with jeans thing here in California. The only time I would do that is if I am extremely lazy.

how any of you loathe sandals yet wear shoes without socks, you disgust me. personal bias i suppose. I could see how in NYC sandals aren't very functional. You walk everywhere in NYC. But try telling someone in Saigon not to wear sandals.....

i will never give up sandals. i'll also wear them happily with raw and/or selvage denim, but they'd look better with worn-in pairs than shiny raw ones ... in fact, i think they'd look odd with raw raw denim.

but i apologize to nobody. if i'm going out of the house in 90+ degree weather, i'm not wearing more clothes than necessary
