Ijin vs Sugar Cane in Rome

In February I'm going to travel to Italy and I'll find myself walking and generally putting a lot of wear into the pair of jeans I'll be wearing intensly for close to two weeks. I had planned on travelling light and only bring one pair and my question is: Should I put the wear into my Ijin j5202 which I've worn for about six months and that I've finally gotten some fade into, or should i bring my brand new Sugarcane Hawaii (One wash)?

Push the fading into the old ones or start off the new ones? Opinions?

keep on truckin. the hawaiis will be beautiful, but once you have one pair of absolutely beautiful, trashed jeans, you'll always have something to go back to when you want a lighter pair.
