New in NYC

Recommended Posts

I was in new york in september and will be there in a month once again staying at the Hudson, which is a bit north. Any good hip hotels south of that?

Any new developments?

Any new stores, bars, restaurants, clubs etc to check out?

Sales?

Keep in mind my favourite places to shop in NY are Nom De Guere, Marc Jacobs, Barneys and Odin.

stop complaining...the hudson is great.

nice girls there... nice environment

tons of nice girls there....

bar is nice

rooms are regular closet sized... but look nice. they got pretty big windows... so you dont feel too trapped.

nothing in ny is that far... take the iron horse... take a taxi.

i love the rooftop bar at hudson.

not complaining, just asking. I love the Hudson, i've just stayed there a few times looking for something new.

Don't be a dick... you know what I mean by a hip hotel. You seem to like the hudson and I would say most would call that a hip hotel.

Thanks... I remember walking into the one across from Pastis... looked nice.

I know whats in NYC and have previosuly searched, just looking for new stuff that has popped up in the last few months. I know about Uniqlo.

What the new place to be? I tend to avoid those but who knows. Last time I was there there was buzz about Budakhan.

Hip hotel downtown? The Hotel on Rivington should do it. http://www.hotelonrivington.com/

second The Hotel On Rivington. It's in the lower east side and surrounded by great night spots/restaurants on Ludlow and Clinton even though it's own bar and restaurant kinda suck. The views are nice and unlike most other hotels located in more traditional hotel neighborhoods, it's is by far the tallest building around (the developers buoght up all the air rights from other buildings on the block), which helps with the great views...

(plus it might be a bit more affordable than the Mercer, Soho Grand, Tribeca, etc...)
