for clothings go to Kuhlman at GOODS on pike st, Kuhlman at 2419 1st Ave or

Blackbird at 120 NW 40th Street. for kicks go to capitol on olive way or sneakers city ( lower part of pike st)...

Ian at 1919 2nd Ave is very good. Mens and Womens. They carry Blueblood, Rag & Bone, Rogan, Loomstate..... There is also an Ians mens store on Capitol Hill 401 Pine St. ,but the selection is not as good.

there are many places around 2nd ave, if you go up from ian.

Roq La Rue is a great gallary, but you probably don't need to go past (north) from there very much.

there are many little places between downtown and RoqLaRue, for girls there's Find (on 2nd) and Damsel (on 2nd), as well as Fancy and Schmancy and Ian.

My friend Victoria runs beautiful VAIN on 1st ave, which is a great salon as well as art/fashion store. Only unique and original design pieces, no name brands. they have the best hair colors in town (if you're into originality in beauty).

If you're into design/architecture, Peter Miller Bookstore and Paperhaus on 1st ave is great. although they close at 6pm. Velocity art has modern design and art pieces.
