Need a pair of casual lace up shoes

As much as I love my wingtips and boots, they're really not practical for everything and not always comfortable to walk around in for long periods of time. I need to find a pair of casual laceups that go with my jeans;both light and dark denim, and winter coats. Here are the limitations for my search:

1: No white. I don't like white shoes for some reason, even in the spring. A little white trim is ok if it *has* to be there, but I'd avoid it if I can

2: No Tigers. I just dislike them

3: I prefer lace ups to slip ons

4: I like earthtones

5: Should be under 150

I was doing some digging on Zappos and found the following which I liked, any thoughts or suggestions?

I think that you should either be casual, or formal with shoes for the most part. There can be exceptions, but I have yet to see anything that tries to be like "formal sneaker" turn out even halfway decent.

Just keep your eyes out and hopefully you'll find something that suits you.

Hmm, if you want something comfortable, and winterproof, Redwings sound like your best bet, but they're over $150.

Are you looking at sneakers or casual oxfords? I would advise staying away from sneaker-dress shoes hybrids, like the ones you posted, because they have no place in a wardrobe.

I believe I am looking for something like a casual oxford. I did not post those other shoes; I would never buy a pair like that.
