ferragamo outsoles *update with pictures*

so i wore them the 2nd time around...and i guess this time it was indoors in the mall so it was a lot better. a lot of the "damage" was done on the 1st wear outside on cement, asphalt, etc.

here are the pics of my ferragamo outsoles. they've been worn a total of about 4 hours outside, 6 inside. are they really supposed to look like this? i'm paranoid that i messed them up somehow...especially the heels, i can see all the metal rivets exposed, and i think there's tiny pebbles stuck in there. the tip of the shoes also have some "peeling" off of sorts so that you can begin to see the stitching, along with the whole outsole being a little bit warped out of shape...someone with ferragamos or leather outsoles please reassure me that i'm not killing my expensive shoes, or where to repair them and how to wear them properly!

^about how much does it cost to re-sole? i only have 1 shoe repairman i know of down in my area, and i'm not sure if quality would at all be an issue...so i guess the wear is normal, since it's basically disposable/replaceable?

Yeah, don't worry about it too much. Soles aren't exactly supposed to remain immaculate.
