RESFEST - TheDutchMix 2006 (Rotterdam + Amsterdam, the Netherlands)

Dear all,

This year, the RESFEST film festival will be held in more than 10 countries and 45 cities worldwide. In the Netherlands it will be taking place in Rotterdam (1-3 Dec. in Off Corso, the Orange Flagship Store) and Amsterdam (8-10 Dec. in De Balie, Bitterzoet, Paradiso).

Part of the programme are:

ROCK THE BELLS (NL premiere, this hip-hop documentary shows the reunion of the legendary WU-Tang clan during the Californian hip-hop festival 'Rock the Bells' and what it takes to organise this 'Woodstock of the hip-hop')

RADIOHEAD: the visionairies (about Radiohead's renewing and special music videos and short movies)

I KNOW I'M NOT ALONE (documentary by Michael Franti (Spearhead) about the people living in the Middle East, in the middle of conflicts (Baghdad-Iraq, Gaza-Israel/Palestina)

CINEMA ELECTRONICA (shows the development of various talented film makers who are deciding for the view of a part of today's media landscape, especially music videos (with among others: Danger Mouse, Elsewhere, Robert Hales, Shane Lester, Cruz)

KROONJUWELEN - HARD TIMES, GOOD TIMES, BETTER TIMES (a unique history document, showing the history of the graffiti culture in Amsterdam, with interviews with 'writers' such as Shoe, Delta, and never before screened parts of film and orignal beats by Kubus & Delic)

Furthermore the programme is completed with - among others - workshops by Adobe and Infowarroom and live gigs by C-mon & Kypski and Eye Supply.
