I wear a 9.5 in prison issues, 9.5 in sk8-his, and 9.5 in XL2s... (tried on a slipon but it was so uncomfortable i wiped it from my memory) So I personally wouldn't suggest you size down... But I have pretty wide feet so I don't know if you could size down with narrow feet. If it's too big you can always wear thicker socks, if it's too small you can't do shit about it.
