hi all ...could you guys help me out?....ive been buying in the past levis 80's jackets...you know ..with the "handwarmer pockets"....and the number is 70506..(I think)...I liked the fit...fitted but not supertight....

t

hen in the late nineties...I bought a "trucker jacket"...with no numbers-it just had a red cotton tag on the neck and was a XL....but the cut was completely different to the 80's jackets-much tighter a lot shorter (this really pisses me orf cause Im 6" 4')

Can I find out from you levis experts, are the old 70505 0217 jackets from the 70's etc the same cut as the "trucker jacket"?........Im wanting to get a ebay vintage one but there all so fricken short!....any light shed on this for me would be a huge help,..

Cheers,

Steve (AUS.)

I can help you here, the 70506 i.e. the one with handwarmers, is cut longer than any levi's jacket ever before or since. 70505's are cut about 1-2 inches shorter than those and then original type 3 557's etc. are cut about an inch shorter than that even. My advise is to stick with the 70506 because it will have the same length as a 70505 that is 2 sizes up, and by that I don't mean the difference between a 40 and a 42, I mean the difference between a 40 and a 44.
