what, radio, in this day and age of ipods/zune/psp?! i hear all u guys exclaim and splutter.

but sometimes you just wanna hear music you wouldnt have chosen yourself/ human conversation

im reallly liking chirs moyles, radio 1 breakfast show.

i hope it translates as well internationally, but ive a feeling some of the subtlties might be lost. warning, listen for the chat, coz the music is just standard pop drivel, but he has a sidekick called comedy dave and all he does is talk with his news readers.

radio in the new york area is horrendous. We don't even have a modern rock station. We have 2 hip hop stations, 2 classic rock ones, a couple dance/pop ones and no station to hear any current rock. You have a better chance of hearing the strokes on the radio in des moine than you do in new york. But I listen to NPR when im driving and the fordham university station which is sometimes a little too country, but also plays indie stuff.
