Gucci Vans Slip-ons - where to find

I'm trying to track down a pair of Gucci vans slip-ons (the ones that look just like the vans checkered ones, but with a gucci monogram.) I know they used to sell them at Nieman Marcus, but I can't find them anywhere.

theyre from like 2 seasons ago. good luck finding these. i cant remember seeing them anywhere since last year.

Put your 400 towards some gucci loafers not vans bites. Or pickup some common proj's in different colors.

The last time I saw them was at Saks in like March...ran somewhere in the range of 280ish...

They're not Vans x Gucci...they are simply Gucci slip-ons. I'm willing to say they'll pop up on ebay from time to time. Definitly a sick shoe by gucci for the 'streetwear' crowd...but then again what do I know..

did vans originate the slip-on sneaker style

or was theirs simply a take on other shoes of the time?

even if it was, i feel vans has taken credit or done the slip-on enough that it seems part of their mystique

you probably won't believe this, but converse actually had slip on's before vans.

y not just get a pair of all white slip ons and get a good paint job on them

saves money and its unique

a ton of companies did the boat shoe type slip ons back in the day. I highly doubt vans or converse were ahead of their game. they just made them popular today.

even if you found these i wouldn't recommend them. a friend of mine has them and mentioned that the soles are alot more difficult to clean then that of vans, alife, etc, and that they wear out just as fast.
