Since we had a thread for the departed, which, by the way, I thought was a hell of a movie, I thought I'd start one up for The Science of Sleep. Though the movie may not have a predecessor, which may lead to less conversation, I still thought it was definitely worth getting the word out. This movie is absolutely fuckin fantastic. Of course this is just my opinion, as the misses hated it, but I really think it was one of the best movies I've seen in the theatres in a long time. I can't even say how many times I laughed out loud at the outright ridiculousness. It was easily one of the most artistic movies I've seen in quite some time. I wish more movies like this were made, but I suppose its uniqueness is part of what made it so special.

To others who have seen it, I'm curious as to what you thought about it. And to those who haven't seen it and plan to, I ask that you go in with no expectations, because if you do, you will probably wonder what the fuck is going on.

wow, whipping out your whip. I agree with you carl, super shouldn't call sam cute, especially with the word "carl" tattoed to her forehead.

Science of Sleep affected me deeper than what i wanted it to.

It dragged me through every tiring/depressing/fearful/horrific/regretfull emotional experiences of trying to get with a girl of substance. On the other hand, it was also ridiculously hilarioius and presented it's relationship experiences in a very open-ended way without resolving anything in a cliche way (like the blathering mess of an ending in GardenState).

I'm still reeling from it all.

yea get a girl with substance and stick with her 6 years and be one helluva man and then you are put in a position where you have to move on cause she has changed for the worse .

then you are a wreck for 6 months + 24/7 because you gave up so much of yourself on this wench ..

stick to sexin um and every one of her friends that you can often as possible
