ok im new to denim and i was wondering what the rain would do to my jeans. abnormal wear patterns?

Rain does nothing to your jeans other than get them wet.

Use some common sense, there jeans, work wear, made to be beat to shit. Rain is not going to do a damn thing to your jeans.

Twibs - I know that nudie fans etc say that you shouldn't wear your jeans in the rain, because you'll end up with little specks on the jeans from the raindrops. In my experience, that is bullshit. Just wear em. If you're really worried, you can dab the raindrops off with a hankie or something. But i would just rub them in with your hands. Go nuts!

It ruins them...in fact doing just about anything other then looking at your jeans will ruin them.

and as to rain, don't worry about it. i've gotten drenched in dry denim and it didn't do a damn thing to the way they were wearing. didn't even lose that sheen that they had. just wear 'em. chill.

actually, look at the jeans im wearing here:

last night i had a water pipe burst in my yard. i was wearing them as i tried to shut off the valve, and they were dripping wet. if anything it se the combs better and cleaned them

Cheap's right, rain is awesome for setting your jeans so long as you keep wearing them afterwards. I've had 2 rainstorms in 3 months with my Levis, and both times I just kept wearing them and the creases set really well.
