Here is another post giving props to Airfrog.

LVC love is sometimes lacking here on supertalk with all the hype over japanese repro brands. But levis will always be the originator of the denim world, and LVC is still a major player in the realm of "Quality denim".

IMO your analysis, insight, and enthusiasm fot the levi's brand adds alot to the discussions here and is always appreciated!

in fact, can you still do the two-horse test for that matter, on any pair of jeans today? can modern stitching jobs hold up to such scrutiny?

You know what, that would be a pretty awesome ad campaighn if levis actually did the two-horse test on a modern pair of jeans! Although, I don't think they would hold up to the scrutiny....

Wasn't there a men's mag that did something like that to several pairs of jeans for comparison a looong time ago? I think the Levi's ripped. Don't remember which ones were even in the contest, let alone which ones actually stayed in one piece, if any.

I remember seeing a test of alot of the commercial "high-end" jeans and the 2 best were Levis and Diesel.
