YES! Girls on Superfuture!!! Every girl that signs up makes me feel like SOOOOOO much less of a fag for being on a predominantly male fashion message board.

It's Red Motherfucking Foxxworth coming straight from VA, and I've been known to make the hoes bounce it up and down like the WNBA

APC makes girls jeans. I don't know about this whole selvage thing but maybe they count.

Umm but whatever yo girls look ill in those 7 jeans.

And on the real, if you got a friend that sews, just custom tailor any joints that look good and ma you will be on fire.

I've only seen the Uniqlo selvages as mens/unisex jeans.

For girls selvage best bet is APC or maybe try Denimbirds, Nudie's sister brand.

However, arguably there are better (as in more flattering cut) non-selvage jeans for girls. Try a brand like Notify. They are delicious.

serge - my apc standards have been washed once are a size 30 but still measure a 31.5, i think any shrinkage is marginal, but they still look fine as they are cut for a 30 around the seat/thighs.

I hate it when denim runs big - what's the point of a size tag if the actual size bears no relation to it. Levi Red normally has this probem.

Just got some Wrangler Bluebells the other day, but they're going to have to go back as they run a size bigger then they actually are - so much for sanforization/buying your actual size.

loving the new lees on aeroleather, but I'm holding out for some 101z 1952s or some 55 501s in my size

APC's are 120-150

The "Standards" are unisex, I have a pair, the cut is great except they are a little bit to lo-rise for me. I think the actual girl APCs will fit a girl tighter...

Tiger Jeans are releasing a line called Imperial Denim this fall sewn on shuttle looms. The models are Swords, Silver and Skogsberg. Apart from that Diesel has quite a few washes sewn on shuttle looms, so does the Lean model from Tsubi. There's actually a lot out there, it depends more on what kind of fit you want - do you like them slim? Bootcut? Low or normal waist? Low rise?

If there aren't any dumb questions, does stupid people get smart just in time to ask a question?

what about vintage Levi's? 501, 505 or 517? nothing beats the originals!

i agree that APC is a good choice too...but their unwashed denims are very stiff...

I agree can't beat old levi's from the 50's, 60's and early 70's

JohnW, approximately how much did your APC standards shrink lengthwise? I just bought a pair and would like to get an idea before I have them hemmed. Thanks!

dangydang - I'm not sure the exact measurements of the jean pre-washing, but after one warm(not hot) wash they now measure 34" I imagine that it'll take about 5 to 10 washes to get the full shrinkage, but for me that'll be in about 10 years time!
