New Sweatshirt

Orange Pekoe

Recommended Posts

I am looking to design and create a sweatshirt. I have a family member who has much experience with cut and sewing although i'm not exactly framiliar with how to get a print on to the fabric other than going to Bang on which does designs on to sweaters. Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions? As well i may test the first sweater on an existing brand such as AA. So further does anyone know where i could go to select high quality fabrics for a sweater, primarily a crew sweater no hood for now? Thanks a lot.

yea I'm not sure what youre asking either.. you can get fabrics at a fabric store and prints somewhere where they do printing..?

you can of course learn to do printing yourself but I'd assume its not easy and requires all kinds of equipment, skills etc.

Sorry i didn't mean to be unclear as i am not really sure how to word what i mean. Firstly i mean where can i go to print a design, which is text not a picture, in metalic silver or gold, i have on to a sweatshirt? And i don't want a simple quality shirt i want to sort of select the quality and feeling you know? I will ask about the more compliacted things i guess when i'm finished this project. Thank You very much though for your help.

Haha i know i'm replying to myself but i think i'm going to test the first run on a generic sweater and see how it looks and get some feedback on the design and then move forward. Thanks Again though. I think overall from what i've just reserched, it is possibly better to have a product made for you by an experienced company, if you want good quality, until you have grown to a point where you can purchase the equipment yourself and have it made internally, meaning within the company. Thanks again anyway.
