Levis 501 150 year anniversary Q's

I came across these 501's that look like the new lvc 1947 501's. The person told me they are from about 5 years ago when they reissued em. They had kinda sloppy overlap on the stiching on the front of the hem, the rear belt loop was inverted to show that there redline, the back of the top button read 501, they had a paper tag. Dark raw denim thick denim like the 47's. Im wondering if these are real or knock off, ive never seen em before and could find anything on the net. But then again i dont know much about denim. Anyhow anyone got any idea. And getting pics wasnt and isnt an option .

And they wanted $70 for em

Oh! one other thing one of the pairs had in chalk or some kinda lighter blue chalk stating the waist size on one of the back pockets and "chalk" lines where the top of the pocket is sewn on.

Damn i didnt notice if there where hidden rivets or not.

from what i've read, levi's never had exposed selvedge on the beltloops or on the cinches and the "levis" with those are fake... however i'm far from an expert and will let someone else tell give a "definative" answer

yeah... search this site for thai fakes... seems they can be had for less than 20$ american. amazing fades too, as they pay people to wear them to fade them.
