some of the pants are so skinny

 

i really like some of this, UC is something i sort of gaze at from afar because aside from the t shirts i can't really see myself weaving any of it into my wardrobe; but i feel a lot of these pieces are more complementary rather than commanding, less intimidating to consider wearing. this is coming from someone like me who wants to respect jun's work and therefore leaves it alone for the most part.

 

i wonder if this is off-putting to OG UC fans (for lack of a better word, followers, maybe?), i've seen a lot of adverse reactions and i can understand why considering the pieces i see coveted and discussed the most compared to this aesthetic, and i feel like my liking it coalesces with some of the disappointment expressed.

 

it's safe to say this is going to elicit attention from people who haven't paid any attention to UC before, and i'm not enough of an enthusiast or know enough about the brand to say whether or not that is a good thing.

feels like borrowed parts from old collections to make a whole. i have a similar sentiment about the collection, really like parts of it. varsity seemed odd at first glance. feeling a lot of earmuff maniac vibes mixed with colors.

This is quite nice, nothing revolutionary but nice cool clothes without the affectation and mind numbing hype of Saint Laurent.  Jun has really been hitting the spot for me lately in terms of quite wearable but still interesting and covetable clothes.

Really am starting to fall for this collection a lot more, skinny leggings with booty pads aside.  Hopefully can get around to copping a few pieces come fall.
