Im a big fan of this company, they are doing some natural indigo selvedge legs. New for this season.

was so tempted not to post cos they're limited, but I guess superfuture is about sharing. The howies selvedge is awesome much tighter weave than apc, bleed like hell. Regarding these though I think the back pockets are far too big, howies pockets just seem to get bigger.

Those look weird on the model -- loose yet they go straight down like a slim fit -- and yes they are indeed fugly. I think on most people they fit like typical loose fitting jeans (think Abercrombie or Gap). Despite the imperfection of their fit, the denim has a very interesting fade, develops nice vertical streaks. I don't know about these natural indigo ones though, I've only had bad experiences with natural indigo.

Yeah I know the cuts not slim but people do say they look fitted but with a relaxed cut, mind you, they are still a straight leg cut wide.

Shinobi- yeah The denim is what pushed me onto this forum, really drenched in dye and produces a lovely streaky vertical fade. My howies selvedge are from 3years ago and the pockets are smaller, those pockets are the only thing putting me off. That and for £150 I could step into japanese denims..

Ive been spying your jeans for ages, damn shame they would be far too big.

did u do minimal wash on your howies? As I wrote in another thread, I started working on my pair around the time that Ryu's "wash frequently" idea caused a ruckus here. Since I was working on my Okinawas back then, I decided I'd do a little side by side experiment. The Okinawas I'll do the normal dont' wash thing, and the Howies I'll wash frequently. Now I'm wondering if I should have done that with the Howies because they ended up fading so nice, imagine if I had held off.

well kinda a bit of both, ive put them in the evolution thread. Basically they bled alot at first, blue on radiators, walls, shoes, socks etc... So like the tag suggested I washed them 3times (in a week) then lived in them for six months, did a wash, then another 4 or so months before a seawater wash.

If i had a time machine I woudnt have done the initial 3washes, they were so blackishindigo back then, and if you see the fades the contrast could have been ace.

But i didnt know what selvedge was back then and they only cost £30 on sale.

I did order the selvedge Bryson jean but the fabric was different, silvery & shiny in appearence, and they didnt fit so they went back.

The jeans pictured above are so nice, they got me into denim and internet forums, I dont think ill ever have another pair like em. My apcs are crap in comparison.

Id be intersted to see your canes, im thinking next pair could be canes or PBJ's.
