So looking at the member list, there are quite a few people from as far back as 03 that have visited somewhat recently.

Just wondering what the board was like back then. What were the "hot topics", like dry denim is today.

Just trying to learn about my roots, you know?

shit i cant remember too much of back then... but i know it was alot of sneaker talk.

seemed like alot of the knowledgable people left prior V.2

dunno where they coulda gone though. but yea... stuff wasnt as in depth, or as 'lax' as it is now... seemed more straightforward, to the point, not many jokes back then.

one thing i remember from '04 was the hype on Howie's jeans. yeah, that panned out. Nudies were still new and hot, APC was barely noticeable, there was still a lot of dry denim talk, but there was almost NO japanese brands as those were impossible to find back then. It was all about levi's LVC and levi's red. man..those were the days

he was lurkin for a year... but yeah, V2 definately pushed the japanese labels to the outside market. from overseas sf'r buying for you, from ways to make a rakuten i.d, 3rd party buyers, definately on some next level stuff.

you can go to supershopper and go to the bottom of the page and sort by last post time and choose ascending. then you can read the evolution in real time.....

i was lurking for a good year before signing up and i seem to remember ALOT of discussion on Levi's BigE and LVCs.

Stuff about the various models and how to tell where your jeans were from by looking at the back of the top button.

This kinda led to a more general discussion on dry denim and then APC came into the picture.
