"The “Papier†series is a collaborative project between Saskia and Stefan Diez and winner of the German Designpreis 2010.

The two designers pointed out the basic requirements of a travel bag – durability, protection and light weight – and sought for an appropriate material other than the traditional choices of leather and reinforced textiles. This resulted in the “Papier" collection, bags which are made of Tyvek®, a synthetic paper that is extremely lightweight but at the same time exceptionally robust, both water- and tear-proof and completely recyclable."

the color i'm selling is this beautiful dove grey. i have it in black, and have been using it ever since i purchased it. it looks really great with wear; almost like leather in certain lightings? it has a saskia diez logo imprinted on the front, and the drawstring pulls have metal 'handles' at each end.

I like Saskia Diez designs, especially his jewelry collection, his new “Sling†collection is amazing but I prefer the “Lace†one.
