How come the advertisements show the 3 stripes on the back left leg, but in the pictures below the ad, the stripes are on the front left.

I don't think they are fake, I didn't even notice anything until i thought to myself, "I would be in love with those jeans if the stripes were on the back".

Are they 2 different models? It doesn't look selvage, but for the amount of detail, the implied quality of denim, and the chance that it's limited production, I'm really not surprised by the ebay price.
