Not feeling the housecat I'm afraid and anyway, you're right ... my existing responsibilities and ambitions might not make me an altogether suitable parent. Perhaps I should consider a more self sufficient little buddy? Hmn. A brown bear, or a saltwater croc perhaps.

That's a very nice thought and absolutely correct. But I doubt they'd be able to feed each other, which is where the plan comes undone.

get some mice and let them loose in the house. they should be able to reproduce fast enough to ensure a steady diet for the cats.

That big guy is my dream pet. Have given serious thought to running off withthe circus, but they said I would have had to join at about 14 to be able to get in the ring with them.
