Hi everyone,

I own a small design orientated junior brand from Montreal called Perplex&lola --- - we just shipped our 3d collection.

One season a go we started contacting the big hip showrooms in the US. I was really disappointed 'cause the people who were interested asked us for huge showroom fees that we can not afford at the moment. At the end we found someone good on the Ouest coast but we are still looking for East coast rep.

On this site there are so many young fashion enthusiasts so I think that I just might meet someone who wants to start his own business. Someone young and aggressive who is feeling the market and the fashion scene in general ==== someone willing to grow with us and most importantly who has the drive to work in this difficult industry.

I am in the same shoes as you are. I have been searching for an applicable east coast showroom for over a year. The problem is that the market is so oversaturated, that the good showrooms are filled or at full capacity. We were with a multi-line showroom in NY, but split things off because she just wasn't justifying her 1000 a month price tag (and we still had to pay for trade shows!). Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that I completly understand where you are coming from and its a frustrating road.

i did not know who Gregory Crewdson was --- one word ____fucking cool !!!

I spend most of my day reading about his work. I think this photo resembles his style because we were also trying to tell an absurd story via our catalogue.
