Selling a Brand New, Sealed, 64gb iPad 2 (Black bezel). It is the wifi + 3G (Verizon) model.

This item retails for $835 pre-tax ($900 after) and is currently selling out the moment they get in stores (atleast here in socal).

Selling on eBay for a Buy it Now of $1275 + shipping but will sell it for $1225 shipped to a sufu member. Email for quickest response ([email protected]).

I'm not quite sure how you are doing your math. After tax, the 64gb wifi + 3g model comes out to $900. Granted, tax %s vary by state, but this is about what you're looking at if you go into a store and buy it.

Now to answer your question, the reason why I am selling it at a 33% markup (with shipping included, mind you) is because after looking around online (Craiglist & Ebay), this seems to be the market price. All iPad 2s are extremely hard to get a hold of right now. In my area, they are selling out within an hour of stores opening every day (with lines forming several hours before the store opens every single morning), and so people are paying a premium to save themselves some time.

It's funny how people mark the iPad up like its some limited piece that once they're gone that's it. I also find it sad that people in America are waiting in line for iPads, while people in Japan are waiting in line for food and medical. Just my 2cents....anyways.....Good Luck on the sale.
