Quality of the Lee 101-Z STRAIGHT Made in Japan and others

I'm thinking of purchasing the Lee 101-Z straight with the dark denim with light fade. Does anyone know the quality of these? I found these to be relatively inexpensive, but does that validate that it's quality isn't that great?

I was also looking at the EDWIN 505S REGULAR STRAIGHT. Are these full selvedge denim? And are the quality of these any good?

I was also looking at the Denime 501 type dark used black. Any opinions about these?

Basically, of these, which do you recommend? I don't really have deep pockets to spend $300+ on Sugar Canes. ANd as far as purchasing Japanese denim, Rakuten is my only outlet right now. So if non of these are any good, then feel free to suggest any jeans on that site that you'd recommend.

I don't own any Japanese Lees but I took a good look at them in Take 5 (Japanese denim store in Hong Kong), side by side with Levi's Japan LVC's. I am pretty sure they are very good quality. BTW Japanese Lee's are made by Edwin.

The Edwin-made Lees are beautiful jeans, with good denim that wears in nicely, altho some poeple have mentioned they take some time to fade. Do a search here & you'll find lots about them.
