For certain styles of shoes, I prefer to buy 1/2 size larger so I can place inserts into them (my back, my back!). I am typically a IT 37, EU 37.5, and US 7. This pair runs 1/2 size small. It is ideal for a US 7.5, IT 37.5. Equivalent to a Margiela 37.5. Keep in mind if you are a US 7 like me, they will fit perfectly with insoles.

I am selling, in part, because the circumference of the stretch lamb leather opening measures 17" but the thickest point on my thigh is 16 1/4" (infamous family chicken legs.) You will do better if you are 18" if not 19" where you expect the boots to hit on your thigh.

The boots are constructed by piecing together a minimal number of panels; the stiff panels are in calf and the stretch in lamb. AS such, they can be molded for volume play. For fun, I folded the winged panel around the leg, though not with very successful results. I can imagine, however, if you make elastic bands with velcro closures to use in holding the boot shape in place, you'll be left with more options.

This is how they look on someone who is probably 5'10. (I'm 5'4.)

Condition: Runway samples. Meaning, they were worn once or twice with artists tape added to the soles to protect them in the show (easily removed -- and it will be removed before being sent.) They are in otherwise perfect condition. The box, however, is not, and I will likely send the box with shipping paper covering it...
