I'm spending a month in Ft. Lauderdale. Anything to do?

Also looking for something for me and my lady to do. Is it worth going to the keys? I haven't been to Florida since Captain EO was playing at Disneyworld....

A lot of things to do in Fort Lauderdale. Check out Riverwalk and Las Olas. There's always the beach. If you want to check out Miami , The drive to South Beach from fort lauderdale is about 20-30 minutes. You can also check New Times Miami /broward website for events going on. If you're into sports catch a Heat game.

The keys is cool to visit if you've never been. Not much to do but drink and eat. If you go, all there basically is is Duvall Street. It's kind of a hippie town.

Looking to duck out of this miserable NY weather with the wife for a few days and Miami looks like just the ticket. Any recommendations for a cool and reasonably priced hotel in south beach? I'd like to spend around 200 per night.

we stayed at the pelican which is owned by diesel industries. clean, hip. make sure your check in advance, miami is always sold out for one reason or another.
