Studio D'Artisan SD-D01

Hi guys & gals,

Just recieved this SD-D01. Natural indigo dye, SD's Orignal Straight Cut (damn baggy!).

However, the waist fits smaller than tagged, like a 34 or 35, whereas the label says 36 (which was what I ordered). I have not soak the jeans, so yes, they are as raw as can be.

Anyone has similar experience regarding the waist fit of SD-D01 ?

Do all SD jeans fit smaller than labelled, so that I got to order 1 size up in future ?

Nice jeans. I like the crotch rivet, back-buckle rivets, and lining inside the back yoke. More pics please!

yes, i've had that experience with some japanese denim being smaller than what's on the tag. the fact is they do stretch. but when you wash them, you have to start all over. the only ones that are true to size that i've noticed are the sugarcanes and the Edwin made Lee's.

in my experience i wear my size in sda- might even want to go down an inch to accomodate for stretching

I would have gone down one or two inches.

no, I've got my regular size in the SD103 but it stretched out and is big in the waist.

But with the extra yoke lining, the stretching part seems a bit discouraging! hahahaaa .... .

Yeah, my evisus, sugarcanes and samurais are all ok in the sizing department.

These SD-D01s has some pretty nice details though, I thought. Let me go get more pics later in the evening when I get home (singapore time, sorry).

you measured the back of the waistband? that's why you get the wrong measurement.
