Are there any commercially available spray-on resin products? This may be a stupid question, but i am ignorant of the physical properties of the resin used in making jeans.

Hi all,

For the resin, I never found anything available out of pro market. I asked all my supplier from europe but not a single is selling small quantities.

Also, using resin needs some technical knowledge. Dilution is the key, especially if you want to apply to light fabric ( effect is pretty nice also on non denim, especially on corduroy). Resin can completly destroy the yarn if not enough diluted. So, depend on your fabric, you must adjust your dilution.

Finally, oven is also important and if you don't have the right oven, you just going to burn your fabric... Temperature needed is not high ( 140/150°) but the way the hot air is curculation is essential.

anyway, good luck in your research.
