shoes to go with jeans

whatsup guys. i love my sugarcane 47s, however, they are a new look for me, more fitted. i am used to wearing my jeans pretty baggy. now, all the shoes that i used to rock with my baggy jeans (i.e. AF1s, Timbs) don't work too well with my skinny canes.

can anyone suggest some shoes to wear with fitted jeans?

i know the chuck taylor all-stars are an obvious choice. any others?

i can see tims not working, but why not airforces? any retro looking shoe seems like it would fit the bill

AF1s are way too chunky imho. They look silly with slim jeans.

Also don't get the Air Max fascination. I wore Air Max shoes in fourth grade. They look like generic running shoes.... (although I admit that I would probably wear the polka dot colorway!)

exactly, i love me some AF1s, but they look awkward with a smaller jean cuff.

it's not just the sole, it's the large area of the toe--if that makes sense.

it's cool that out of all the decades, the 1940's are making a comeback!

the 40s were a great time (except for WWII)--maybe a little underappreciated now. there was the birth of bebop, the roots of the beat generation, swing dancing and lindy hoppers, the first computers, quantum physics, R&B, rock & roll, las vegas, lots of good shit.

i'm sick of the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s! time to bring back the greatest decade!

only the far right or 80s inspired punks wear these in england.

(The "far right" means nazis, the BNP, skinheads etc in British politics)

but I think they look quite cool with the right jeans

Well, I am none of those, but I do appreciate the look the lend to a good pair of jeans!

im all about vans or chucks, or anything like that. not a fan of the big chunky shoe. unless youre talkin about docs. some nice low-cut docs are good too. anything basic and low-key. my key is so low i have to stand on my head to unlock my car. that didnt make any sense.

^ I dont know what size those are but they look like US 16's with those jeans :)

as someone mentioned I think Vans slip-ons and old schools are good with slimmer jeans
