I believe according from JCrew they will shrink.

The 30's are 30 or smige over like at 30 1/8 or 30 1/4....

I'm waiting one the next in line on the 30's... if he declines then they're open.

that I don't know. Probably like normal 501's but I'm not sure as I've not worn these.

The waist is at 36" right now, marked 35" so figure it will shrink to 35" would be my guess. It also depends on how much you wash them and how you wash them....
