Japanese help with Denim Buyers Guide

Hi, I finally got my hands on Lightning's Denim Buyers Guide and love the pictorial spreads. I'm very curious what the scales (numbered 1-6) for each jean mean. I can tell they correspond to the picture next to it, but I don't know what each side of the scale means, or some of the titles.

Any help would be appreciated.
