treating leather shoes

Got some white leather/suede diesel shoes a few days back. I normally don't like diesel shoes but these looked low key and were really cheap.

Anyway, the shoe itself is leather (white) and grey suede. Anyone know what kind of cream I should use for the shoe, if at all? I want something that will waterproof/protect the shoe from stains, etc.

Picked up a jar of mink oil. Made sure shoe was clean then applied. Seems to work. Mink oil conditions the leather and makes it waterproof.

Test on inconspicuous spot first. Get a quality brand though. Cheap mink oil is probably 99% petroleum based oil anyway. Mink oil/beeswax is the best. I picked up a can for like 10 bucks.
