SLIM JEANS IN NYC

I apologize in advance if this has already recently been posted by someone but I want to know if anyone could recommend some places I can go for some slim jeans this weekend in NYC without spending too much. Lately I've been wearing Levi's 514 that I had tapered but they begin to look very cheap after a few washes (after all, I only paid about thirty bucks for them). How about the Levi's Strummer or the All-Son Fit #5? I need something simply straight and slim.

Okay... So does anyone who actually knows what they're talking about want to help me?

I'm looking for something with maybe a 14" leg opening similiar to Nudie's Slim Jim or the slim-fitting Cheap Mondays.

Are you asking "Where should I go to buy jeans in NYC?" or "what kind of skinny jeans should I get"?

Both questions have been asked and answered, ad nauseum, on this forum. The first question in particular is easily answered by looking at superfuture's massive, comprehensive NYC shop review list.

If it's the second, I suggest you run some searches in the superdenim forum. There is lots and lots and lots of information there, including skinny jean information.
