question on first time wash for raw Evisu

The only raw denim I've had was APC and got a size 30 to stretch to 34. I haven't washed the APC's yet and will wait at least a year before doing so. I recently bought a pair of raw Evisu Lot 0001 size 34. In the package, theres a note on how to take care of Evisu jeans and it says to wash the jeans first in order for it to remove the starch and shrink the jeans (they are a bit long even if I do cuff).

So how do I go about washing the raw Evisu? I know to turn them inside out, but what is better - cold or luke-warm water? And do I wash them in a machine (if so, hand wash or regular cycle)? Or do I soak them in a tub? Should I hang dry or spin dry cool?

i checked and i dont think i saw anything specific to evisu

For how long have you been wearing them?

The first pair of Evisu's i had, i washed after only 2 weeks, and all the stiffness and glossyness got lost. I really regred washing them. I suggest not washing them at all.

I can only recommend not washing, if you want to keep them stiff and glossy.
