40s in Kibata Loomstate

Hi,

which Japan made 40s style denim pants would you recommend?

Unfortunately many Japanese jeans are one-wash. That takes out the sizing guess work but some people like me enjoy the soaking process.

I'm specifically looking for a loomstate pair of jeans, which as far as I know is called kibata in Japanese.

The following makers came to mind: The RealMcCoys, Warehouse, FOB, Trophy, The Flat Head.

Any recommendations?

The Trophy ones you're talking about are these....

They're 50's not 40's style, and use a Talon zipper. The denim on these is really nice, very streaky and quite smooth compared to Trophy's Dirt Denim.

Can't speak for the other brands, but these are a very nice pair of jeans.
